Foul words banned, no violence...no galis...am wondering how can I write review about AuromartIndia without all this? Being small family of husband-wife and a kid, we had bike, decided to buy small used car for nearby outings..though we both combinely earn good income, we decided on M-800 as first car on which I will be learn to be a perfect driver. Friends and relatives advised me against going for a second hand car, its a white elephant,etc etc..So worried I decided to buy from a reputed source. Finally an unfortunate day we went to AutomartIndia, Kalyan. Sales person, Prashant Bugde was sweet talker as expected, finally convinced us to buy a M-800 1996 model at a whooping 67,000/-...We fell prey to AutomartIndia Certification, 120 point checkup, repaint job..etc, etc.. Delievery we got on time, Dassera, Paper transfer within 10 days..(Bit lucky than others), Insurance transfer we did it on own, thats a different story but good positive experience by person from Unique Automobiles, Dombivli. After couple days of driving local town, one night Gear Knob broke, AM person told to bring car there though I told that car was stuck in reverse gear...Finally got it done from local machenic... All fittings in car were loose..Door Knobs came in hands, AC non-cooling, rear tyre punctured twice & spare tyre already flat in dicky... But we were enthusiastic like middle class persons buying four wheeler, so thought after these initial expenses cos’ the car was old, everything will be fine... Finally we got ready for Alibaug, just 3 hrs from Dombivli, We reached there without issue, but on our way back car stopped near Pen..As m in-experienced, i had not checked heat indicator n as Radiator fan was not working (This knowledge was gathered later), engine was overheated. Called AM from there, they said that electrical thing, no warrenty etc, etc (May that soul rest in hell...AMIN !!!), Finally 1200/- towing charges and my car was in parking. Again called AM, their garage person Mr.Patil who hardly knows anything about cars i think said that why come all d way long to kalyan n replace fan? better I change it in some garage in dombivli...Spent reasonable amount finally n replaced it... Then with fear in heart, next week took car to Pune again with family, this time car decided to rest somewhere near talegaon (On Ex.Way, so dont knw location). This time after opening bonet, we knew a wire was broken (Brittleness), so tied it by thread to required point and went... After that three times on various occations car in some pretext stopped suddenly, engine problem as oil leaked in one cylinder, etc etc..Now not even my wife or parents sit in car, no guarentee when will it stop, wife and kid prefer my sweet tvs victor even in rain than car... Where’s the 120 point checkup AM guys? Am in modern times so I cant kill people..So these buggers are alive... Post rain, we r planning to sell this Rusting White elephant, and buy us a New Car this Diwali.. Indica Turbo, or Wagon R Duo or Santro erlx...... AutomartIndia sells 26july (? correct date?) water logged cars (My Garage Wallah said), dont have technical expertise (I say) and are worst (MAny will say same).. Beware and keep away... |
