After listening to him, I decided to buy a
car from the company but on my conditions:-
1. It should not be an accidental car.
2. It should be in a good condition.
3. Everything like shock absorber, engine, A/C etc. should be
a good condition.
4. It should not be a
repainted car. And, finally, I don’t want a car to be repainted
from your people in any condition. (I mentioned it very clearly).
Mr. Ankur. promised me to fulfill all my requirements.
Without even seeing that car, I made a token
money of Rs. 5000/- because of company’s name. I had nothing to
doubt the company.
Now, after payment and all, finally I went
to take the delivery of the car.
I got
the car with the following gifts:
1. Left indicator was
not working, mechanic tried but he couldn’t fix that.
2. Rubber cover was not
there for accelerator.
3. Central locking was
not working properly
4. The handle broke down
on the very first day on the front driver gate
5. Clutch was so tight,
it wasn’t easy to use.
6. Gears were creating
problem
7. A/c was not working
some time/some time not
8. All four Shock absorbers
were in such a poor condition.
(Explanation of shock absorbers)
Instead of changing the shock absorbers they put something in them
and raised the height of the car from the back and when I asked
them why did they do that, they said my car would not touch any
speed breaker.
9. A local stereo which
was not working, and speakers were in a very bad condition
.
10. Doors of the car were so hard
.
11. Steering wheel had a problem, it was not coming back to
its position.
Even
after this I accepted the car.
I went home with that car; I didn’t take that
car even to the local mechanic of my area.
But after few days, my car got few scratches
in the bumper. I didn’t like that, and I took my car to the nearby
painter, and I asked the painter for the estimate to get my bumper
painted.
He asked me, which color should I match, the
color of the car, or the color of the three pieces, bonnet, and
the two adjacent sides of that bonnet. I was shocked, he told me
that the car was repainted and he showed me that the frame of the
car was also broken, which indicated that car was accidental too.
After listening to that, I went to the local
dealer, I told him that this is my car, it is fully insured, and
single owner. I want to sell it, how much would I get for this car, he said I would not be able to give you more than 1, 50,000 rupees
after all efforts.
That was the amount, for the car of Rs. 2,30,000.
Now, deduct this amount. 2,
30,000-1, 50,000= 80,000
(A LOSS OF 80,000 + interest of the bank).
